Description

Fun classroom activity / ChatGPT Webquest to show how artificial intelligence (ChatGPT) can be biased.

  • Students watch a short film on a website.

  • Then, students ask ChatGPT who has scored the most goals in international football.

  • If ChatGPT doesn't mention Christine Sinclair, students are instructed to inquire about her specifically.

  • They also need to compare this answer with information from olympics.com.

This resource was FREE for 24 hours to thank people who follow the Educircles Store or are part of the Educircles Club!

The worksheet includes several discussion questions aimed at making students think critically.

Topics range from recalling specific data, understanding the reason behind asking certain questions, and analyzing how ChatGPT comes up with its answers.

Students are also prompted to discuss whether ChatGPT should be allowed in schools and to create their own questions to test if ChatGPT provides accurate or misleading information.
